Hello I am Star, and a little about me. I’m a service-driven professional whose career has been shaped by compassion, connection, and a genuine desire to help others. With extensive experience across the medical and insurance fields. I spent five years working for the State of Oregon with Aging and People with Disabilities, Long-Term Care, and the Oregon Health Plan, helping individuals and families navigate important services and making informed decisions. I am currently working toward earning my Medicare and life insurance licenses, continuing a professional journey centered on guidance, advocacy, and care.

Born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and raised in West Texas. My path eventually led me to Meridian, Idaho, eleven years ago and then to Baker City, Oregon, where I have lived for the past seven years. Each place has contributed to my appreciation for people from all walks of life and strengthened my commitment to meeting others with empathy.

Family is at the heart of my life. My husband and I have shared twelve years together, building a lively, loving family that includes four sons, a daughter-in-law, and three beloved “puppers” who are every bit our children. As the big sister to two wonderful “little big brothers,” I treasure the lasting bonds of family. I also believe that true friendship creates family, and I hold my friends especially close.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, spending time outdoors, reading a book, and connecting with nature—my happiest place. My love for animals reflects the warmth and care I bring to every part of my life. Whether supporting a loved one, guiding someone through a complex decision, or simply listening when a person needs to be heard, I am dedicated to making a positive difference. My purpose is simple and sincere: I am here to help people.
